As I suspected, the apartment issue was maint. crew coming into the wrong apartment. Two days in a row, apparently. I was apoligized to and told, "Oh, I planned on calling you tonight to tell you blah de blah." Whatevs. I'm just happy to know I do not have a creepy person in my apt. Or a ghost.
